In the past, the words faux leather or EcoLeather didn't go hand in hand with luxury or premium. Often it was associated with the words cheap, low quality, weak, and unable to withstand the test of time. However, in January 2020, we launched our first eco-line that could live up to the Vision Art name and high-quality standards that you and your clients deserve and be a true "eco" and environmentally friendly product. Sadly, like other industries worldwide, we, too, have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic in our ability to continue to provide you with our current EcoLeather alternatives. This blog is not to tell you that we are discontinuing our EcoLeather line but rather to introduce you to their replacements, plus some new additions.  

Small, subtle differences exist between our previous EcoLeather line vs. our new one. Previously our EcoLeather had a flat, smooth, pebbled grain with a matte finish. The new EcoLeather has a flat, smooth leather grain, a slight satin sheen, and a softer and thicker feel. This smooth surface will make your deboss design pop with crisp and clean edges. These new colors, however, do share the same specs as our previous line that you and your clients value.

• 100% Reinforced Rayon Backing containing TENCIL Modal fibers (all non-rustic colors)

• No Conflict Minerals 
• No Heavy Metal Stabilizers 
• No Flame Retardants (Halogenated, Brominated: ex. PBDEs)

The Colors

Chia

Like the tiny and mighty chia seed loaded with vibrant nutrients, Chia is a rich black with an eye-catching attitude, sure to make your designs stand out.

Azul

The Spanish translation for the word blue. Azul is a darker stormy wave blue that will replace our previous eco leather- Ink. Much like a storm that can't be ignored, this color is perfect for any design that needs to make a statement. This replaces our EcoLeather Ink color.

Moon

The moon has fascinated humanity for centuries. Many books and movies have romanticized its beauty. We have been so enthralled and captivated by its splendor that we even sent someone up to touch it. Well, our new replacement for Mushroom, Moon, is a beautiful out of this world greige that is sure to compel your client and anyone who sees it to lay their hands on it. This replaces our EcoLeather Mushroom color.

Blue Agave

We say Blue Agave; you think Tequila! No, we're not coming out with our own Tequila line (we wish), but just like the beautiful blue agave succulent, this color will intoxicate anyone who casts their eyes on it. This lovely creamy dark blue, which will replace our No Moo Blue, is sure to stun and demand everyone's attention over and over again. This replaces our EcoLeather No Moo Blue color.

Coconut

Ahh, the coconut, reminiscent of white sand beaches, sunny days, and a volleyball named Wilson. This humble superfood is called nature's sports drink because of its electrolytes that can help rehydrate. This off-white super-beauty is classy, luxurious, and sure to be refreshing to your client's eye. This replaces our EcoLeather Tofu color.

Avocado

Like the versatile fruit that has taken over the world, from dip to ice cream, this universal color is sure to be as versatile in your designs, from luxury weddings to elopements and seniors to animal photography. It will surely take your client's heart with its yummy dark shade of green.

3 New Rustic Colors

Kale

Like the green leafy veggie full of nutrients, antioxidants, and immune-boosting goodness, Kale is a dark green full of rustic charm that is captivating, warm, alluring, and downright glamorous.

Wool

This modern slate gray will warm your client's heart much like a wool sweater on a brisk fall evening.

Hummus

A light brown, reminiscent of a patinaed saddle or the good times shared next to friends with the edible dip. This color will make any album pop and help create new memories for your clients.
